Pearl Hodges Award of Excellence

Pearl Hodges founded the original Rose O’Neill Club in 1967 to foster and promote the life and works of Rose O’Neill. In her honor, the organization (now the International Rose O’Neill Foundation) created the Pearl Hodges Award of Excellence.  The award annually recognizes individuals for their contributions to the organization.

The following criteria guides the selection committee in choosing the recipient of the Pearl Hodges Award of Excellence.

  • Kewpiesta Concourse duties
  • Faithful service and promoting goodwill among members
  • IROCF committees served on
  • Promoting Rose O’Neill and her works to organizations and people not part of IROCF
  • Service on the Board of Directors
  • Window or other displays (at Kewpiesta and elsewhere)
  • Workshops (at Kewpiesta and elsewhere)
  • Work on and contributions to Kewpiesta Kourier.
